Cooks Creek Golf Club is going to have a Valentine Brunch on Sunday, February 14, 2010.  The first sitting will be at 10:30AM and the second one will be at 12:30PM.  The cost is $10.00 per person with all of the following included:
Bacon, Pancakes/Syrup, Scrambled Eggs, Biscuits/Gravy, Mixed Fruit, Ham, Fried Chicken, Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, Salad, Rolls, Dessert, Coffee, OJ, Water, Fountain Drinks..

They are going to open this to the public with advertisement in the Herald, to their members and on their billboard.  You can call 740-983-3636 ext. 4 to make reservation or leave message if no answer.  They are looking for a number in order to prepare the food for this first time event.

I am sending this email out to many people, but for the people of our church you can call or email me back so I can give them a number that will be at the first sitting of 10:30AM.  Pat von Ins please put this info in the bulletin so people can tell me after Sunday the 7th.  Any questions let me know.

Meet Pastor Floyd

 

My name is Pastor Floyd Hubbell.  I have a wife (Peggy) of 41 years and two grown daughters and 5 grandchildren.  I have been in the United Methodist Church for almost 35 years.  I have attended the Methodist Theological Seminary and I am now in the continual process of study courses through that same school. What a privilege it has been to serve the faithful and invite others to experience a life with our Lord.  God has seen fit to use me on the District level for eight years which has enabled me to fill the pulpits of many churches through out the state, work with homeless families and plan ministry events for a number of our congregations. Currently, I am honored to serve South Bloomfield UMC.  We are an alive congregation with a vision for the future.  Our church is approx 160 years old with a rich heritage.  Now, we believe it is our calling to exercise this part of the Body Of Christ in the community and invite all who will come to be part of our family.
